Welcome to the 4x4 Section.

1977 Land Rover 90 200Tdi

This Land Rover came to me very cheap, the reason being that it was really a 1977 but had been built to 91 spec. It performed very well and was very capable, I went off road a lot with this and even got a second in class in a competion I entered.

The one thing I didn't like about it though was that it was a manual gearbox, I dont like manual, I'm an auto fan and went to the trouble of sorting out the parts needed to convert to auto. As with a lot of things when I get started, someone comes along and offers me money for the motor I just carn't refuse, so this like others moved on.

Taddington lane, very deep ruts made by tractors. Was a very testing lane, very muddy, but now filled in, you can drive your car down it now.
Water crossing at Bakewell, what more can I say! just watch out when the river is high though.
Holy Moor Side, this was taken from the bottom looking up. Rocky, muddy, steep and very slippery.
Wales, this site is just colossal. We are driving up the stream, the car is balanced over a v shape gully, under the car is a gap of about 3-4ft.
A competion I entered at Eaton Lodge, no I didn't get any where in this one!!
